The Wild Center

Went on a weekday. Not bad. About an hour and a half drive for us. It wasnt a bad museum, but lacked some things. The cafe was only serving soup which is a weird thing to serve on a 76° day, the spider net looks a lot better online than in person. You can see where a layer of netting was completely cut out. It still has 3 layers of netting, but seeing there WAS 4 layers just gives it a poor look. The otters were missing and we didn't see any signs explaining a possible reason, but wasn't a huge issue since there were plenty of other things to see.. A keeper was just finish feeding the porcupine and was very lovely at explaining them to us. I wish I remembered her name because she was great. Over all, not terrible, kept my nieces busy for an hour, but for the drive and price, we might not go back unless for a special event.

Very cool museum on site with hiking areas nearby. The walkway wasn't as tall as I thought it would be but it was still very nice. Perfect for kids and even strollers.

Very nice. Spent three hours waking around. Porcupine and ravens were great. Elevated walkway, tree, and adult spider web were enjoyable. Waking path and overlooks were peaceful. Stick works was intricate. Sphere with projectors was very insightful. Musical path in the woods was relaxing. Overall way better that the good things I had heard!

Definitely worth every penny! Expect to spend a few hours here to walk around and explore. We truly loved the animal exhibit and the informational speaker that discussed the animals. He was entertaining, energetic, and extremely informative. He captured our sons full attention and he is four.
