West Mountain's Aerial Adventure Park

So great. Oh yeah. Like a nice, luxurious bubble bath, except with skis. Note: I am not recommending the restaurant. We’ve yet to have a good experience there.

It is not the biggest mountain but the lines are short, the terrain has something for everyone. Great summer/fall activities too. Always love these smaller mountains!

Plenty of good and plenty of bad with west mountain. The good. The ski school is 5 star. Jaime does an unbelievable job. Great instructors. They care and really give great attention to the kids. The food quality is 4 stars. Mountain ops is 4 stars. The do a nice job with grooming and snow making. The Bad. West “express” 1 star. Breaks down at least once every time I’m on it. Lots of wasted time. Leeds to long lift lines unnecessarily. Fix it and maybe the other issues go away. Long lift lines on holidays. In my opinion the over sell tickets on holidays and weekends. The mountain as it stands cannot handle the amount of people. Food service 3 stars. The woman at the north lodge shouldn’t be serving people. She has no care in the world for anyone but herself. The crew at the main lodge do a good job. They care and give effort. Obviously the pandemic makes some of these things difficult and they are family owned so they get a pass on some things.

Great mountain to ski. We were sad to see the restaurant was closed but a great day in the end. Trails were groomed very well and conditions were amazing.

A group of friends and I went night skiing on a Tuesday, the lift ticket we purchased was good until 9PM. We rushed down the mountain to get one last run in, made it to the bottom at 8:47 and the people working there said the lift is closed and they were all done for the night. I explained to them that we came with 10 people and just wanted to do one last run. They didn't seem to care. If you pay for a lift ticket, you should be allowed to use the lift until the listed close time!
